Going forwards for entry to major events that require RTR Association membership verification we will be using RTR Connect on the Military App (or RAC Connect App) as a form of digital identification.
As an example, police or security at the RTR Cenotaph Parade will be briefed to request to see the profile page (on the Connect Tab) on the app for a name, image and verified status.
Instructions
Step 1 - Download the App and Register (if not already registered)
If you already have an account on RTR Connect you can skip this step.
You need to ensure that your First and Last name is accurate, your service number and service dates are completed, you have provided a contact number and that you have uploaded a headshot image to your profile / identity. To update information in the Military App go to:
Connect tab > Edit > My Identity (Edit my details)
Please save any changes.
Step 3 - Fast-track your verification (for both Existing and new RTRA members)
Once you have completed the above steps you can submit the form below to notify HHQ.

Step 4 - Member verification
A HHQ representative will review all applications for app RTRA verification and set members with the Verified Member status.
If you have submited a request and not seen that your member status (in the Connect tab in the app) is approved within 10 working days then please email Dave Larcombe on larcombe.dj@gmail.com
Step 5 - Using the app as a form of RTRA digital ID at events
Once your status is verified in the app you can use this as a form of RTRA identification for entry to certain events such as the RTR Cenotaph Parade.
Please have your phone with you at the event and be ready to open the app and show the Connect tab with your verified profile to police or security.
